No-Cost Home Energy Assessment

 

Owners and renters of buildings with 1-4 units can get a no-cost Home Energy Assessment. Learn how home upgrades can help you reduce energy and maintenance costs and increase comfort at home.

Income-Based Assistance

 

The Sponsors of Mass Save are committed to making energy-efficient upgrades affordable for all Massachusetts residents. Income-eligible property owners and renters can start with a no-cost Home Energy Assessment. You will learn how you can improve your family’s comfort and lower monthly energy bills. Recommended upgrades may include no-cost insulation and air sealing, efficient heating and cooling systems, and more.

Heat Pumps

 

Heat pumps can efficiently heat in the winter, double as a cooling system and can dehumidify the air, providing year-round comfort. Owners of single-family homes, apartments and condos in 1-4 unit buildings may be eligible for rebates to upgrade to high-efficiency heat pumps, as well as an opportunity to apply for 0% financing.

Multi-Family Energy Assessments

 

Property owners or managers of 5+ unit buildings can increase tenant satisfaction and property value and reduce operating costs year-round by leveraging Mass Save incentives, rebates, energy-efficient products and upgrades.


Small Business Energy Assessments

 

Get a no-cost energy assessment for your small business, nonprofit or house of worship.

An Energy Specialist will visit the location and help you discover energy-saving opportunities that can save money on overhead costs, increase profit margins, and boost the comfort of your employees, customers, volunteers and visitors.

Stop by the library during Office Hours to meet with the City of New Bedford’s Energy Advocate.

You’ll be able to talk in-person about ways to save energy and reduce costs. Feel free to bring your most recent utility bills.
