What's not to love about 0% financing for home improvements?
February 14, 2017
It's only February, but maybe you're already starting to plan some home improvement projects for the spring or summer. Maybe you're realizing your aging heating system or poorly insulated house is costing you money in the form of high energy bills or repairs. Or perhaps you want to install or replace an air conditioning system before the heat and humidity arrive.
We know these projects sometimes come with a big price tag. But Mass Save wants to ensure Massachusetts residents have access to the equipment and solutions that help save energy while improving comfort at home.
The Sponsors of Mass Save offer homeowners the opportunity to finance certain energy saving home improvements through the Mass Save HEAT Loan Program.
If you're thinking about making any these improvements, your first step should be to get a no-cost Home Energy Assessment. An assessment is required in order to qualify for the 0% HEAT Loan, and it may also reveal additional energy saving opportunities for your home.
If you have not yet received a no-cost Home Energy Assessment, call Mass Save at 866-527-SAVE (7283) to schedule one for a time that is convenient for you. If you already had an assessment and received home improvement recommendations that qualify for the HEAT Loan, contact your contractor who can walk you through the next step of the application process.
