Encourage your landlord to get a no-cost energy assessment for the property. An assessment can help you and your landlord discover opportunities for greater energy efficiency. You also may receive energy-saving products at no cost.

Schedule a no-cost Home Energy Assessment with trusted lead vendor, {{HLA}}. Call 866-527-SAVE or schedule online.

You can also choose a participating Home Performance Contractor to complete your no-cost Home Energy Assessment. The same contractor can also complete any recommended insulation and air sealing work during a follow-up visit.

If you already know what upgrades you’re looking to make and you are looking to access quick incentives, you may access direct incentives for insulation and/or air sealing upgrades. You can skip the assessment and work with a Direct Weatherization Independent Installation Contractor to scope out your project and access incentives.

For heat pump installations, you can contact a Heat Pump Installer Network Contractor to receive a quote.

Your municipal utility is not part of the Mass Save program. Please contact them directly for energy efficiency program information.

Incentives on recommended upgrades may include:

  • A special offer of 100 percent off recommended insulation and air sealing improvements
  • Generous rebates of up to $25,000 on qualifying energy-efficient heating, cooling, and water-heating equipment and clothes washers
  • The opportunity to apply for 0% financing on eligible upgrades through the HEAT Loan Program
  • No-cost energy-saving products, like advanced power strips, low-flow showerheads, faucet aerators, programmable thermostats, and discounted smart thermostats
  • If your home is in a Designated Equity Community (DEC), you may qualify for additional energy-saving upgrades at no cost. Click here to find out more.
