Expanded support for Designated Equity Communities (DECs)
Rental properties in DECs and other income-qualifying customers may be eligible for no-cost comprehensive upgrades, including air source heat pumps and up to 100% coverage of pre-weatherization health and safety updates, with turnkey support to complete improvements.

This targeted, community-driven outreach connects small business owners with solutions to reduce energy use, manage operating costs, and improve building performance. Participating businesses begin with a no-cost, no-obligation energy assessment to identify efficiency opportunities such as insulation and air sealing, efficient lighting, smart controls, and refrigeration upgrades.

View calendarCustomer awareness, participation, and trust continue to grow
Recent survey results (May 2025 vs. May 2026) show increasing awareness of Mass Save programs, with overall familiarity rising from 58% to 66%, including gains among both homeowners and renters.
Trust in Mass Save programs increased from 69% to 81%. Among homeowners, trust rose from 73% to 82% while renter trust increased from 63% to 78%. Lastly, overall customer satisfaction continues to strengthen across all audiences, remaining high at 8.3 out of 10.
