Get no-cost professional guidance to identify the biggest energy-saving opportunities for your business.

The Sponsors of Mass Save offer no-cost in-person assessments, as well as a limited number of remote virtual assessments, for small businesses using less than 1.5 million kWh in annual electric usage or less than 40,000 therms annually on natural gas bills.

Our energy specialists are trained to follow enhanced safety measures during on-site energy assessments that allows businesses to discover energy-saving opportunities that can:

  • Increase profit margins
  • Boost the comfort of your customers and employees
  1. Contact your Mass Save Sponsor to schedule a no-cost energy assessment. If you are not sure who your Sponsor is or if you are interested in learning more about electrification opportunities, use the Find Your Mass Save Sponsor tool.
  2. A qualified energy specialist will conduct an in-person or virtual assessment of your building, identifying potential energy-saving measures (lighting system upgrades, HVAC system upgrades, pipe insulation, faucet aerators, and more).
  3. Your business will receive a customized Energy Savings Proposal detailing energy efficiency recommendations.
  4. Recommended energy efficiency measures will be installed by our qualified vendor and paid for up to 70 percent by your Sponsor.

The following is a list of potential energy-saving measures and opportunities that may be identified during an assessment. The energy specialist will also inform you of incentives available to your business by the Sponsors on these measures.
