Building Ventilation and Heat Recovery for HVAC Systems

Learn about ventilation requirements and approaches, and how heat/energy recovery can be used to increase efficiency of HVAC systems.
This training assumes some basic knowledge of HVAC equipment, and it will focus on commercial and institutional buildings.

- Hot Gas Reheat (HGRH) for Packaged RTUs
- Heat Reclaim Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) Heat Pumps
- Chiller Heat Reclaim
- Other Solutions - Water Source Heat Pump Loop, Stack Economizers for Steam Boilers, Plumbing Waste Water
Coffee and light breakfast will be available starting about 8:30am. Class starts at 9:00am. Buffet lunch will be provided. Continuing education units (CEUs) will be available through UMass.
