C10.2 TEDI: Common Mistakes & How to Avoid Them

The Targeted Performance Path of the Massachusetts Stretch Code 2023/2025 requires projects to use energy modeling to demonstrate compliance with heating and cooling Thermal Energy Demand Intensity (TEDI) targets. This one-hour training focuses on common mistakes observed in projects following the Targeted Performance Path and provides strategies for identifying and avoiding them.

Session 1: Introduction to Building Envelope Assessment & Weatherization (Norwood)

Intro training on building envelope and how to improve efficiency and comfort through weatherization of commercial/institutional facilities.

Building Envelope Assessment Training (day 1 of 2)

Participants in this class will learn how to assess commercial building envelopes for energy saving opportunities and improved comfort. Note that this two-day training is an expanded and more interactive version of the one-day building envelope training we offered last March (in person) and June (online), with the addition of new exercises to practice applying what you are learning, as well as more content on how to present envelope upgrades to customers.
