- A Rebate Commitment Letter (pre-approval) must be obtained for all projects prior to equipment installation to be eligible for rebates. To request a Rebate Commitment Letter (RCL) go to Online Rebate Pathway. You can also download an application at Request Rebate Commitment Letter via Email.
- Upon completion of installation, submit rebate application online by clicking the link found in your Rebate Commitment Letter approval e-mail. If you are an installer, you can register for an account and track all your active projects here.

The customer shall cooperate and provide access to the facility/equipment and the incentive will not be paid until the inspection is completed to the Sponsor's satisfaction.

- Reach out to your electric Mass Save Sponsor for guidance on custom applications. Municipal light customers should work with their gas program Sponsor as applicable.
- • The project size cap is based on the total heat pump tonnage for all projects by customer account as of June 1, 2026.
- • Pre-approval notification will be provided as part of the custom pathway process.
- • Please be aware: while heat pump rebate levels remain unchanged, custom projects must meet cost- effectiveness criteria and require additional project information.
