Residential Stretch Code Solar Ready and EV Ready Part 3

This module takes a deeper look into Solar Ready requirements. We discuss changes to Solar Ready and reinforce requirements that have not changed. We also look at Electric Vehicle readiness as it applies to one and two family housing as well as townhomes and R-Use buildings 3 stories and below. We’ll also cover some exceptions to both Solar Ready and EV Ready. We’ll also share some frequently asked questions from our code hotline.
