Passive House Multifamily Building Hurdles and Challenges

Kurt Lamar (Building Advisory Group) and Chris Becker (Callahan Construction Managers) will explore the challenges and lessons learned in passive house construction, sharing insights through photographs, case studies, and real-world experiences. This session is designed for both new and experienced professionals looking to deepen their understanding of best practices, proactive strategies, and common pitfalls in passive house projects. As passive house continues to gain national traction, collaboration and knowledge-sharing are essential to its success. Our goal is to learn from one another by discussing processes that contribute to success—and those that may create challenges—as we strive to be ‘All In’ on achieving successful passive house certification.
