MAEEP - Introduction to Lighting Controls Online Course
Timing: Apr 9, 2025 @ 1:00pm - 4:00pm and Apr 10, 2025 @ 1:00pm - 4:00pm

Learn about a variety of lighting controls technologies such as Luminaire Level Lighting Controls (LLLC), relevant codes and standards, how to identify appropriate applications to save energy with lighting controls, the basics of integrating with building automation systems, and which types of controls equipment will be supported by Mass Save in 2025. This training is focused on commercial and institutional buildings and assumes some basic knowledge of lighting technology.
Single class offered in two parts: April 9 and 10, 1-4pm each day. Continuing education units (CEUs) will be available through UMass for those who attend both days.
This is a repeat of the class we offered in December in Norwood, with some additional content on the second day.

Instructor Bio: C. “Webster” Marsh is the Owner of Penumbra Controls, where he provides lighting and lighting controls design, specification guidance, and education. Webster is a Certified Lighting Controls Practitioner (CLCP), Lighting Controls Association contributor, instructor on lighting and lighting controls, and co-host of the Lighting Controls Podcast.
