Lower energy bills with these incentives on energy-efficient cooking and refrigeration equipment.
According to The Food Service Technology Center, as much as 80 percent of the $10 billion annual energy bill for the commercial food service sector provides no energy-related benefits. These lost energy dollars are often wasted by outdated or under-performing cooking and refrigeration appliances.
By replacing or adding energy efficient equipment, you can improve performance and cut costs of 10 to 30 percent without sacrificing service, quality, style or comfort. For example, ENERGY STAR® qualified gas fryers can save approximately $500 per year in energy bills, while ENERGY STAR qualified gas steam cookers save about $800, and the Sponsors of Mass Save provide a $1,000 incentive for each unit!
How to Participate:
The Sponsors of Mass Save® offer incentives for qualifying natural gas or electric high-efficiency foodservice equipment that is purchased and installed. There are two ways that you may participate.
