Joining the Network

  • 1 Have an authorized company representative gather the required documentation.

    This includes a signed Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Participation Agreement, W-9, HVAC or Electrical Contractor/Plumbing License, Comprehensive General Liability Insurance, and certification of relevant training.

  • For the Commercial Project Installers, this includes documenting the licensure requirements as listed on the Agreement.

  • 2 Register for the Mass Save secure document portal.

    Visit the Mass Save secure document portal where you will find instructions to submit documentation for participation for your company. Start by creating an account if your company doesn't already have an account.

  • 3 Upload all required documentation through the secure document portal.

    Have an authorized representative of your company login to the secure document portal and upload a signed Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Network Participation Agreement and provide relevant licenses, certificates and proof of training.

  • 4
    Have all your company's installers complete the Energy Efficiency Learning Center (EELC) registration form.

    After completing, your installers will be invited to the Mass Save Energy Efficiency Learning Center (EELC). Please allow up to 2 business days to receive the email invitation (including login credentials) from [email protected]

Remaining Active

Status in the Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Network is dependent upon successful completion of these first‐year requirements:

  • Residential Project Installers:
    • Air Source Heat Pump Installers must provide certification of Cold Climate Sizing and Design Training by a heat pump manufacturer
    • All installers must complete assigned Cold Climate Heat Pump trainings via the Mass Save Energy Efficiency Learning Center
  • Commercial Installers:
    • Maintain active licensures as indicated on the Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Participation Agreement
