The Town of Westwood has demonstrated a sustained commitment to energy efficiency through consistent participation in Mass Save programs from 2023 through 2025. The town has engaged with a variety of offerings, including midstream programs for lighting, HVAC, water heating, and food service equipment, as well as retrofit and new construction initiatives.

Among its most impactful efforts was a major new construction project that delivered significant energy savings and helped advance the town's long-term energy performance goals. Through its broad participation across multiple programs and project types, Westwood continues to identify opportunities to reduce energy use and improve the efficiency of its facilities. These efforts earned the Town of Westwood a 2026 Mass Save Impact Award.
