BOSTON (March 28, 2023) – The Sponsors of Mass Save® today announce they have received the 2023 ENERGY STAR Partners of the Year - Sustained Excellence Award from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy for the third year in a row.

The Sustained Energy Excellence Award is the highest honor presented by the ENERGY STAR program. It recognizes the Sponsors' efforts to reduce customer energy bills by promoting ENERGY STAR certified products. The award also recognizes the Sponsors' long-term commitment to leading Massachusetts to a cleaner, net-zero future. Winners are a part of a distinguished group of national advocates who drive value for our environment, economy, and communities.

"The Sponsors of Mass Save continue to demonstrate their dedication to a clean energy future," said Tilak Subrahmanian, Eversource Vice President of Energy Efficiency and Electric Mobility. "This award is a testament to the Sponsors' commitment to making Massachusetts a leader in energy efficiency, as well as the hard work of Mass Save vendors and contractors who provide upgrades and work daily to reach our shared climate goals."

The ENERGY STAR program annually honors a select group of businesses and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to protecting the environment through superior energy achievements. ENERGY STAR award winners are essential in solving the climate crises and are recognized by ENERGY STAR for being leaders in their industries in the production, sale and adoption of energy-efficient products, homes, building, services, and strategies.

"As we accelerate historic efforts to address climate change, public-private partnerships will be essential to realizing the scale of our ambition," said EPA Administrator Michael S. Regan.
