Why are they a Mass Save Impact Award recipient?

Lowell General Hospital has demonstrated a strong commitment to energy efficiency through more than 20 projects completed across multiple facilities and buildings. Working with the Sponsors of Mass Save, the hospital has implemented a variety of energy-saving improvements, including variable frequency drives, building management system upgrades, high-efficiency lighting and chiller enhancements.

These projects have generated more than 37,000 MWh in electric savings and 385,000 therms in natural gas savings while supporting efficient, reliable building operations across its healthcare facilities. These ongoing investments in energy efficiency contributed to Lowell General Hospital's selection as a 2026 Mass Save Impact Award recipient.
