Founded in 1889, Gordon College is a private Christian college in Wenham, Massachusetts, known for its commitment to academic excellence, service and faith-based education. Why are they a Mass Save Impact Award recipient?

Gordon College has made energy efficiency and electrification a key part of its campus sustainability efforts, completing 28 projects across multiple buildings, including 11 electrification projects representing more than 100 tons of installed heat pump capacity.

Working with the Sponsors of Mass Save, the college has invested in building management system upgrades, energy management systems and heat pump installations as part of its ongoing strategy to electrify campus facilities one building at a time.

These improvements have generated more than 170 MWh in electric savings and 2,100 therms in natural gas savings while helping improve energy performance across campus. In recognition of these efforts, Gordon College has been named a 2026 Mass Save Impact Award recipient.
