Why are they a Mass Save Impact Award recipient?

The City of Quincy has demonstrated a strong commitment to energy efficiency through more than 100 projects completed across municipal buildings throughout the city, including schools, fire department facilities and administrative buildings. Energy-saving improvements have included building management system upgrades, steam trap replacements, high-efficiency lighting, exhaust fan improvements, heat pump installations, and transformer upgrades.

These investments have helped improve building performance, reduce energy consumption, and enhance comfort for the thousands of students, employees, and community members who use these facilities each year. Collectively, the projects have generated more than 7,500 MWh in electric savings and 256,000 therms in natural gas savings. In recognition of these efforts, the City of Quincy has been named a 2026 Mass Save Impact Award recipient.
