Haartz Corporation is continually exploring new ways to reduce its environmental impact and has partnered with National Grid and Eversource on its decarbonization journey. Over the past five years, the company has reduced its overall carbon emissions by 22%, all while maintaining production levels. Today, nearly 25% of Haartz’s energy comes from renewable sources such as solar and wind. In 2024, the company installed a 70-ton Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) system in its warehouse, followed by a 128-ton water source heat pump in 2025 to provide both comfort heating and process cooling.
