    Have an inefficient, working dehumidifier?
Receive a $30 rebate for recycling your inefficient dehumidifier when you schedule a pick-up for a qualifying refrigerator or freezer. Alternatively, see if there is a dehumidifier turn-in event near you.

  1. This offer is available to Massachusetts electric customers whose Mass Save Sponsor is Cape Light Compact, Eversource, National Grid or Unitil.
  2. It must be an inefficient, working refrigerator or freezer. If you are also recycling a dehumidifier, it must be scheduled with a refrigerator or freezer pickup.
  3. Refrigerators and freezers must be plugged in, working (cooling), and empty at the time of pick-up. If your refrigerator has a water line, please disconnect it before the team arrives.
  4. Refrigerators and freezers must have an inside measurement between 10 and 30 cubic feet, which is the standard size for most units. Per state laws, all doors must be removed from the refrigerator/freezer before placing outside for pickup to avoid paying fines. You can read more about the law here.
  5. The appliance must be located at your residence or business at the time of collection.
  6. Eco+ is only able to do inside pick-ups for locations with one flight of stairs or fewer. If there are more stairs, it will be the customer’s responsibility to make the item accessible for outside pick-up.
  7. You must be the owner of the appliance being recycled.
  8. A maximum of two units per electric account per calendar year will be accepted.
  9. Pick-up must occur between January 1, 2025 – December 31, 2025 to receive the $75 rebate.
