• AHRI has replaced the "Heating Capacity (H1Full) - Single or High Stage (47F), btuh" field with the "Heating Capacity (47F), btuh (Appendix M1)" field. This data update has resulted in systems that once qualified to no longer qualify. These systems will be eligible for a rebate if installed on or before March 31, 2026, but will no longer be eligible for a rebate beginning April 1, 2026. These systems are marked with a "No - DS" in column B in the spreadsheet (downloaded from the top right-hand corner).
  • The industry is moving away from R410A refrigerants to A2L refrigerants, like R-454B and R-32, to comply with the EPA’s transition rule. Beginning January 1, 2026, the EPA ruling prohibits the installation of new HVAC systems with GWPs >700. The Heat Pump Qualified Product List will reflect this update by removing any R410 refrigerants to align with the new standard. For more information on the A2L transition, view the “Introduction to A2L Refrigerants” course on the Mass Save Heating and Cooling Learning Center.
