Independent Installation Contractors
If a Mass Save® Energy Specialist conducts your no-cost Home Energy Assessment and you approve recommended insulation or air sealing upgrades, an Independent Installation Contractor (IIC) will be assigned to you to complete the work upon receipt of your signed contract. Pricing is consistent among all IICs through the program, so there is no need to contact multiple contractors to get the best quote. Home Performance Contractors
A Home Performance Contractor (HPC) can perform no-cost Home Energy Assessments as well as install upgrades. If insulation or air sealing upgrades are recommended during your assessment, your HPC will complete these improvements during a follow-up appointment. Pricing is consistent among all HPCs through the program, so there is no need to contact multiple contractors to get the best quote. Participating Heat Pump Installers
Contractors participating in the Mass Save Heat Pump Installer Network are independent, licensed, insured, and actively engaged with the Mass Save Heating and Cooling programs. These qualified contractors have been trained to design and install heat pump systems that meet the needs of your home and can help you understand heat pump installation and operating costs, as well as proper operation and maintenance practices.
