School Activities and Resources
Funds for schools, tools for teachers, and energy education for students
Mass Save® sponsors partner with local and national organizations to develop energy education initiatives in Massachusetts schools. The goal is to encourage students to learn the benefits of saving energy, and to explore innovative concepts for the future.
Mass Save teacher trainings offer energy efficiency related professional development for educators. The materials and training programs are aligned with Common Core State Standards, and provide comprehensive, objective information about the scientific concepts of energy and the sources of energy, their use and their impact on the environment, the economy, and society.Explore Teacher Training Resources
Energy-Saving Fundraiser Program
Mass Save offers an exciting fundraising opportunity for schools in National Grid and Eversource Electric’s service territories. Students learn about energy efficiency and how their actions affect the environment. After the educational presentation, students participate in a fundraiser by selling discounted energy saving products for the home. Families benefit as they learn new ways to save, and schools get to keep 100 percent of funds they raise.Get Started with Fundraising
