- A qualified energy specialist will conduct an in-person review of your facility, identifying potential energy-saving measures (lighting system upgrades, refrigeration controls and cooler upgrades, motor or drive controls, compressed air systems, and more).
- You will receive a customized energy savings report for your business detailing energy efficiency recommendations. The Sponsors of Mass Save offer rebates and incentives on a variety of energy-saving measures based on the project’s estimated savings.
- The Sponsors can help you select a vendor to generate a proposal for the identified energy efficiency measures. The installation is then completed at your convenience.
Scoping Study

During a scoping study, an energy consultant looks at all facility areas like insulation, heating and cooling equipment, lighting, and more. The consultant then identifies energy-saving opportunities—like updating and controlling equipment for occupancy changes throughout the day.
The following is a list of some of the potential energy-saving measures that may be identified during an assessment. The energy specialist will also inform you of the various incentives that may be available to your business by the Sponsors on these measures.
