Energy-Saving Fundraiser Program
Raise money for your school or non-profit organization and help kids discover the value of energy conservation.
The program is designed for grades K-8, although high schools are also eligible.
It begins with an exciting launch event, which includes:
- An interactive, educational presentation on the benefits of saving energy with the use of light emitting diode (LED) light bulbs, advanced power strips, low-flow showerheads, and more
- Fun games and hands-on activities to foster excitement about energy efficiency
- Free educational materials
- Support from fundraising coordinators throughout the entire process
Best of all, your school or non-profit organization gets to keep 100 percent of the money collected through the fundraiser.
Students are educated about energy efficient products and encouraged to spread the word on ways to save energy at home. The fundraiser products (LEDs, advanced power strips, low-flow showerheads) are provided at no cost to your school or non-profit organization. The fundraiser also includes participant rewards and recognition at no additional cost.

Curriculum Materials
Teachers who participate in training receive teacher guides and student kits with materials for hands-on projects, upon request. Accompanying students at all grade levels can learn about the forms of energy with age-appropriate exploration that emphasizes the scientific process, energy sources, efficiency and conservation, and more. Curriculum materials are reviewed annually by energy advisors and teachers alike for objectivity, applicability, and content, as well as curriculum standards. View NEED Curriculum.
