Mass Save® SPONSORS HONOR FIFTEEN MASSACHUSETTS ORGANIZATIONS FOR  RECENT ENERGY-EFFICIENT INITIATIVES. On the same day that Massachusetts was ranked #1 n the nation in energy efficiency by the American Council for an Energy Efficient Economy (ACEEE), Mass Save honored fifteen Massachusetts organizations with the 2011 MassSavers Awards. The winners, comprised of businesses, hospitals, a university, and a waste treatment facility, were honored for completing or undertaking significant energy efficiency improvements this year with the help of their local gas and electric utility and/or energy efficiency service provider - the Sponsors of Mass Save.


  • Lead Safe Renovation and Repair in Massachusetts

    As of July 9, 2010, new rules for renovation, repair and painting work in pre-1978 residences and child-occupied facilities in Massachusetts took effect under the authority of the Massachusetts Division of Occupational Safety (DOS.). The DOS requirements, which are set forth in 454 CMR 22.00, are similar to those in the federal RRP rule, but there are some significant differences that insulation and air sealing contractors should be aware of.
