Assessment of New Efficiency Technologies

Description

Massachusetts Gas & Electric Utilities and Energy Efficiency Providers welcome suggestions from vendors and entrepreneurs in respect to new energy saving technologies that might be promoted under the Massachusetts gas and electric energy efficiency programs. Toward this end the Utilities and Energy Efficiency Providers have established the statewide Massachusetts Technical Assessment Committee (MTAC) to review new technologies which have the potential to cost effectively save energy. New residential and non-residential technologies will both be assessed under the MTAC process. Click on the appropriate link below to identify next steps:

New Non Residential Technologies

For non-residential equipment to be considered by MTAC for program incentive eligibility it must meet the requirements identified in the documents identified below. Vendors are requested to review these documents closely in order to ensure a timely assessment of their proposed technology. After review of these documents clarifying questions can be submitted to the MTAC email address listed below.

- Doc 2 (Submission Checklist)

Please submit all required documents electronically to the MTAC committee @ Robert.Laurence@eversource.com. We will acknowledge your submittal and discuss your proposal at our next monthly MTAC meeting.

New Residential Technologies

For residential equipment to be considered by MTAC for program incentive eligibility it must meet the requirements identified in the documents identified below. Vendors are requested to review these documents closely in order to ensure a timely assessment of their proposed technology. After review of these documents clarifying questions can be submitted to the MTAC email address listed below.
