Reduce your facility’s carbon footprint by making the switch to an all-electric forklift fleet. Couple your new electric forklift with a high efficiency battery charger to maximize savings.

You can help achieve your business’ decarbonization goals by retrofitting your existing propane powered forklift or forklifts with an all-electric battery powered model. In addition, the Sponsors of Mass Save will provide a rebate for retrofit or installation of a high frequency battery charger, which achieves a higher power conversion efficiency than legacy charging models.

  1. Purchase Eligible Equipment
    Purchase battery-powered forklift(s) and forklift battery charger(s) between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
  2. Submit Rebate Form with Required Documentation
    Submit your rebate information no later than January 31, 2025 along with the required documentation. See the rebate form for instructions.

  • The battery powered electric forklift must be replacing a propane powered forklift or be purchased in lieu of a propane powered forklift. The new purchase cannot replace an existing electric forklift.
  • High frequency battery chargers must have a power conversion efficiency >= 0.9. The charger must either be new equipment or replacing an existing SCR or Ferroresonant charger. The charger must have a rated input power greater than 2 kW.
