    Massachusetts utilities and energy efficiency service providers work with the Consortium for Energy Efficiency’s (CEE) High-Efficiency Commercial Air Conditioning and Heat Pump Initiative (HECAC) to promote high-efficiency specifications and quality installation of unitary air conditioning and heat pump equipment. We promote the use of CEE’s Tier 2, one of three minimum-performance tiers, for qualifying equipment.
