Energy Assistance Programs for Income Eligible Customers
In Massachusetts, there are a number of programs that help residents who qualify manage their energy costs. These programs include fuel assistance, utility discount rates, and energy efficiency services. Your local utilities and energy efficiency providers have joined together with the Massachusetts Association for Community Action (MASSCAP) and Low-Income Energy Affordability Network (LEAN) to promote these programs to qualifying households.
For Your Home
Qualifying homeowners and renters of single and multi-family homes may be eligible for one or more of the following programs:

Fuel Assistance: Subsidies to reduce the price you pay for energy services

Utility Discount Rates: Discounted rates that lower what you are charged for the energy you use

Energy Efficiency Services: Services that make your home and appliances more energy efficient, thereby reducing you total energy consumption
